Thinking of my friends in many churches in the DC/NoVA/MD area . . . I loved living there for about seventeen years of my adult life and always feel welcome, always feel at home. Thanking God for the wonderful friends, for the beauty of places, for the history of our country, even when it is painful. We can thank God for people who still believe our ideals, who still strive to help all individuals and groups realize the dreams so many people have to live the gifts of those 'inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
The more we all believe and work toward helping everyone in the world to have clean water, food, shelter, freedom from violence and the threat of violence, and opportunites for each person and each family to enjoy the fruits of liberty, the more stable and beautiful life on Earth will be for all people. When we all work together beginning in our own homes, in our own neighborhoods, in our own towns and villages, in our own counties, cities, regions, provinces, states, regions, nations, the more we bring about the atmosphere where all people may prosper and live in the peace, love and joy that our Creator intends for each and every one of us to receive and enjoy . . . and to pass on to every member of our families . . .our children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, grandparents, neighbors and friends.
The Lord is so good and so faithfu. There are untold blessings we can't even imagine that the Lord has prepared for us from before the beginning of time, from before creation was initrusted, when all that exists, seen and unseen was just in the Creator's imagination.
Glory to God!
Alleluia!
Amen and amen.
