So what happened was that it was one of those long dark cold winter days/nights in Alaska and we had a brand new airman from Guam but we also had a new sergeant from Chicago who even tho he was younger than I was, we both knew Garfield Goose and Frazier Thomas really well.
And then there was that comic strip with Garfield the Cat and his best friend Odie . . the dog.
So . . . somehow my Chicago sergeant friend and I were playing Garfield Goose Trivia and we were the only ones in the office during lunch time.
And in the middle of me asking him, "Who was Garfield's best friend?" . . . well, in walks John from Guam and with a big snile he answers, "Odie"!!
And the other two of us were just almost rolling on the floor laughing because we said, "No! Romberg Rabbit!"
