-- I was only trying to say that I remember the first time I saw you.
-- When was that?
-- On the Quad side of the Union. You were talking to a tall guy with glasses.
-- Really? Why did you remember me?
-- You had dropped your books and people were rushing past you. The guy blocked off the area where your books were with his bike.
-- Before or after the sit-in?
-- Before. I had French class and wasn't up for it so was heading to the FLB.
-- Had a hard time getting by the little group of Iranian students shouting about the Shah.
-- They are often at most of the intersections of the sidewalks on the Quad.
-- Did you see the signs about the poster sale at the Union on Tuesday? Let's get some more for our room.
-- Okay. But my favorite is still "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"at the head of your bed.
-- I like the blacklight one of the waterfall. And the Eacher print of the guys going up and down the stairs.
-- Tony bought that one for me. Had never heard of Escher before.
-- Hey! I just remembered that the girls were wondering when we're going have the next mixer.
-- No sure. They keep complaining that I am the only one who gets a days out of them. I told them they are just not talking to the boys that much.
-- Are you going to see Woody Allen's "Sleeper" at the Auditorium on Friday night?
-- Probably not unless Paul wants to drive back up from home with me. Mom wanted to give me a couple of more boxes now that I am in your room instead of in the overflow lounge.
-- Good. Say, "Hi!" to your Mom and Dad for me.
-- I will. How long before dinner tonight?
-- About twenty minutes, I think. What other classes did you have besides French today?
-- Russian 102, Psych 101, Honors English Seminar. The instructor has decided to hold class in her apartment.
-- You're kidding!
-- No. Strange, eh? But it's a half a block east of Allen Hall above the drug store as opposed to all the way up on the third floor of the English Building. But since it starts at 8 am I was still late.
-- Let's see who else is ready to go down to eat.
-- Okay. I will stop the record playing when "Here's to You Mrs. Robinson" has ended.
